Mission Trip to Mississippi (5)
January 18
Another day of work at the site. It is slowly warming up and we are not so cold as we were on Tuesday. It is good to see the progress we are making on the house.

The drywalling continues. As fast as it is hung, someone follows behind and starts the mudding.

Drywalling in closets became Alec's specialty. Maybe it was because he is small enough to fit inside!

Measuring and cutting is first and then you get to hang it.

Does it fit? How many times did we put it up to only put it back on the floor to cut off a little more.

Cleaning is a constant project. We all chip in to keep the floors partially clean.

In between the rain drops we got back to the scraping of the house. We won't get to the painting but can get it ready for those who will follow us.

Clean-up from the yard. It took a lot of wheel barrows to carry all this from the back of the house to the front yard for pick-up.

The other pile of refuse. Old boards that are pulled off, garbage, cardboard, etc.

The windows are all in and so the trim work begins.
